First 5 seasons - Manninig 100 INT's, Roethlisberger 69 INT's, Favre 77 INT's & 53 Fumbles... Young QB's turn it over...

Mariota is only in his second year. Even the great ones Manning,Favre, etc. turned the ball over quite often early in their careers.

As he grows as a player and gets experience he'll get better.

Titans are rebuilding this year and were 4-4 not bad at all and almost every game they've lost has been by one score or less.

Titans have scored 26+ points in 5 straight games.

Over last 5 weeks, Marcus Mariota leads the NFL in TD passes, and has the 4th highest QB rating.

Over the last 5 wks, Titans have 2023 yards. Good for 2nd in the NFL. 6.26 Yards per Play, which is 5th in NFL over that period.

Mariota has now thrown for 32TD and 0INT in the red zone thats best in the NFL.

Yes he needs to get the turnovers under control but overall i think he has a bright future and once the Titans finish rebuilding they'll be tough to play.

Hey some of you guys are fans of teams that have dealt with QB issues and know what it is like to have a shit QB for years so of course when you get one that has potential and looks good you get excited. Minnesota dealt with Ponder being a bust around the same time the Titans had their own bust Locker. Both teams bounced back Vikes with Bridgewater and Titans with Mariota.

Jets fans know the feeling they are doing decent with Fitzpatrick but haven't had a good QB since Pennington. IMHO Tyrod Taylor looks good in Buffalo they havent had a good one since Jim Kelly. Cheifs fan went through a bad patch with guys like Matt Cassel before singing Alex Smith a couple years back.

Raiders dealt with Jamarcus Russell and plenty of others before finding Derek Carr. Bucs look like they found their guy in Winston after years of bad play at that position. The Skins aside from RG3 rookie year haven't had a good QB in years but Cousins looks like the real deal.

You have certain teams that are spoiled like Green Bay,New England,Indianapolis. Those three teams have had good QB play for many years.

Last but not least the teams like the Browns,Rams,Jets,49ers,Bears,etc. those teams would kill for a good young QB.

The teams that have dealt with a bust at the QB position are much more appreciative when they finally do find their starter.

So yeah i do get excited over Mariota and i've seen what he can do so if he can get those turnovers under control he could be a very dangerous QB.

Sure he has made mistakes a lot of young QB's do.
