Obamacare is extortion and the US Healthcare system is horrible.

I can only imagine how horrible health care is here in Canada (where ALL citizens are entitled to it) compared to the USA.

I keep seeing smart men like D. Trump tell Americans how the system in Canada is a disaster. I suppose the healthcare systems in the UK, France, Sweden etc don't measure up to the USA either.

We had the best healthcare system prior to Obamacare.

Socialist healthcare doesn't work anywhere. All those countries you mention are just that Ploms...

for the past week or so I've been having sort of a tingling feeling down there along with more frequent urination as well as decreased nerve control movement. Theres no pain while urinating, no discharge of any sort etc. I have a GF who is the only woman I have been with the past 3+ months and I highly doubt its an STD. I am thinking its either some type of urinary infection or nerve damage. I was considering seeing my regular doctor however I do not want an STD test to appear on my chart if he decides to go that route and I've read that insurance companies get the wrong idea for having such tests done and might increase rates/copays etc longterm due to this. Would I be better off seeing a urologist as they might have an easier time diagnosing and will not immediately recommend a urine/blood test? I have also considered going to a clinic or 1 of those planned parenthood places but I have not heard good things. Or is there any better options out there? I am fully insured and both are covered.

I'm no expert but I've never heard of an insurance company doing anything because someone got an STD test that sounds ridiculous to me. On a side note, funny little story.. Few years back a broad I was banging gave me something (dirty whore) anyway when I told my doctor that when I looked down and saw my pee hole red and swollen I almost passed out it really bugged me out ! His response? "Well after the first 24 hours the tip of the penis usually falls off. 48 hours later? forget it the whole thing falls off!" Guy thinks he's a fuckin comedian! Gave me a prescription and shit was cleared up within 48 hours. Women on the other hand that shit sticks with them for a long time. Guys are very lucky in that respect!

Why is it that citizens in countries with "socialist" healthcare have longer life expectancies than citizens of the USA? Surely there is some correlation.

The US claims to be the leader of the free world but the only categories the US leads the world in are negatives, not positives, things like incarceration, murders etc.

It really depends what kind of insurance he has. "The Runner" has Cadillac medical and dental. I don't need referrals. I can go directly to any specialist I want. Most insurances require a referral from you PCP.

If he has no referral like yours truly, I would recommend going directly to the Urologist

oodles and oodles of insurance

This has absolutely nothing to do with healthcare vs how you take care of yourself.

Yep, #31, just behind the offshore capital of the world, Costa Rica.

US healthcare is broken. When countries look to emulate a successful healthcare system they do not look to the USA to copy them, they look at the US system as something to avoid emulating.

Why is it healthcare is a major issue in the USA but here in Canada where our system is described as a "disaster" (by ignorant US politicians) you never hear of Canadians complaining about it or looking for our system to be overhauled?

PS: My family Dr is an American and resides in Michigan. She crosses the border to practice medicine in Canada even though she can do so in the USA.

I hate to break it to you. But when you eventually make your way to the urologist, really good chance they stick a camera wire up your pisshole. It's the most painful thing you will ever experience in your life. It makes having a tooth pulled without novacaine, seem like a trip to Disneyland

Yes, having shit jammed up your junk is painful. I've had it done a couple times. The fact its already sore from infection only adds to the misery.

Have had a friend get this done, he said there's no pain that can compare to it
