sleepy
Every has quick hooks for Strong, Kelly, Helfrich but the shittest coach in the league gets a free pass. Always has shitty offenses that couldn't score if the life depended on it. Always chooses to punt on 4th and inches on his opponents 35 yd line Never once recruited a decent kicker, which you would think is a must if the only way you can win is in low scoring games Has had losing record every year at UConn benches Sherriffs for this Williams clown that isn't 1/10 the QB Sherriffs is fires offense coordinator when its his fault the offense sucks
Always Call Heads
Because they are a little better than when he started and UConn is a losing program and has low expectations. He gets a couple of more years.

He gets a couple of more years. In his tenure since 2014 they are 11-23 and about to be 11-24 and also never covers a number 9-24-1 ATS From 2009-2013 they were 29-33 UConn is not improving and Diaco has pretty much single handily destroyed that program and deserves to be fired

They are a lot better than they were then. They took a step back this year but were showing improvement.

You really think this is going to get any better next year?

tripp
Id say the obvious reason is that very few care about the UConn football program You named coaches at some of the premier jobs in the country; Strong at Texas, Kelly at Notre Dame, Helfrich at Oregon (right after Chip Kelly era) Diaco might get fired he might not, but either way its not a national story that people care about. Its a side note. Strong/Kelly/Helfrich are headline news if they stay or go

But people love Diaco and claim he is the greatest.

But people love Diaco and claim he is the greatest.yes thats true but again its because of the media and fan attention that goes with the program When you are coaching a lower tier program people wont care as much or notice as much if you are doing a poor job. You will also get some wiggle room cause not much is expected. No booster for uconn thinks they are going to the title game or competing to win their conf simply saying expectations and attention are the reasons those guys get talked about and nobody cares about diaco being employed still.
