Within the past 4 years he has at one point been arguably the best bat in baseball, then he was downright bad and last season rebounded to be an above average OF. Not much consistency with him though. Very injury prone and K's way too often. Like the deal for both sides. Much better for LA to clear that money and get a reliable frontline starter like Max and dominate through pitching and the Pads need to spark some life to their offense by potentially adding a big bat.
