Gabe
I never understood this mindset. The person who is "OWED" should never feel bad for asking for the money.

sugardaddy
Yes... and it's an awful feeling. They make YOU feel bad for collecting. Some more experienced lenders are very stern, and persistent and force the debtor to pay like it or not. You're extra nice and patient about the whole thing from the start, but now you're the bad guy for even asking to get paid. They try to avoid you. They look the other way when you're walking towards them... just awful but I guess we should learn from the experience.

joeybagadonuts
Yes. Exact reason I no longer loan money to anyone but my siblings and only reason I help them is bc they have kids.

Guest boatboatboat
One never knows when they may need to borrow. Quite easy to say "oh never me" or "I would just do without" Big words for small minds. I lend money when asked and able. Karma is real, and someday that shoe may be on the other foot and I rather have it there than up my as for being such a dick head when a friend in a pinch needed a hand

jasson621
I've loaned money to people knowing they can't pay me back and for that I never have to see them again( race track trick) +EV if the guy is a douche and most are, family gets handouts not loans so there is no contract.
