Sol Aristatel
LOL.....well, like her chances, I'm 50-50 Yeah. You've been beat up pretty good lately. Time to use the "Ive been getting slaughtered with my play the last 2 months" card. Usually comes out after you take a few on the forum chin. Might be time to move back to Tampa. JAX would love it there.
MonkeyF0cker
I assume that's the case at most places. Nothing lamer than asking if someone is a guest at the hotel when they're trying to bet a lousy dime on an NBA total. Big casino players can generally bet almost bet whatever they want, horse players as well. That would almost always be because those players are lifetime losers in the casino and they want to keep their action though. Why would a casino be obligated to offer sportsbook wagers to people playing full pay VP? They can't be that dumb. Horse players are another story. They want them to win betting horses so they continue to get simulcast rebates from the player's action. It also adds to the bottom line of the book for the sportsbook director. The book can fairly easily win with the player by getting 15% in return off of their horse action without any risk and losing 2-3% return on their sports wagers. FISHHEAD
That's correct, every casino is different......but some and many don't calculate freeplay, promo additions, or various other things into P/L on machine play. I have multiple stories about sports guys trying to get higher limits by becoming casino players. Very few involve +EV VP. I know you live here and have probably seen the commercials over the years about the big purple building on Flamingo where they work for you to help you fight traffic tickets. The guy who owns that company was a customer of mine and got to 7 star level by playing high limit baccarat almost solely in the hope that his limits on baseball totals would be raised. He figured his host would go over the head of my boss to get this done based on his casino action. It didn't happen, the book manager was (mistakenly) convinced that this guy was being fed plays by Richie B and wouldn't give him anything over a dime. Was kind of funny having a guy risking hundreds of thousands in the baccarat room just to try and get a couple extra dimes on his baseball wagers. FISHHEAD
Not sure what freeplays and promos have to do with sportsbook bets. You asked A WISE player can be playing a +EV machine(profitable) with the casino believing they are losing money.......this in turn in some instances can allow the player higher limits betting sports(Wynn, case in point). I believe it's in the 18-20% range for horse revenue now, but I was factoring in comps (even though they don't go out of pocket as much as they comp). Interesting story. Exactly what I would expect though.

FISHHEAD
How what???? Again some casinos do not calculate free plays , promos, etc., etc. into a players win......and some casinos one can still pull slot card before drawing to a hand or bonus to hide profits, this tactic was much prevelant years back, at almost every casino with a slot card, these days casinos have wised up,to this ONE particular tactic of pros hiding profits. Umm. The systems are a little smarter than that. It's not like the Wynn is running proprietary slot card hardware and software. They're using the same architecture as a ton of other casinos around the world. Pulling the card out does nothing. The coin in is already recorded and the result is tied to the hand. So... fortune telling.
FISHHEAD
Pulling the card at Wynn, no......certain other casinos it absolutely does.

FISHHEAD
No casinos in the city that still allow "pulling ones card" on machines can help them in anyway sportsbetting as far as I know, only on how casinos PERCEIVE their machine play W/L...............Jerrys maybe, but I haven't played MACHINES there in years. Tomorrow's Newspaper
You guys blew this one for Fishy. He wanted someone to call BS on his $4000 ticket and have to post it. Of course he had one because he had one on the other side also that lost while trying to hit a middle or squeeze out a few cents on an off line. Guy probably had the ticket scanned and just kept waiting all night to post it. Why do you think he made it so clear that he still had the ticket? Hope you did lose too much on the middle Fishy
Sol Aristatel
Pretty clear here. -FH- can't hang with true pro's like MonkeyFucker, Tomorrows Newspaper, and Bfo. Clearly out of his league when called to the carpet. Might be time to move back to Tampa with JAX and Marge Simpson...
