tripp Posted December 26, 2016 Report Share Posted December 26, 2016 Just finished part one with our very own NBA capping expert Deem team taking down the pot There were a few that expressed interest in joining if we ran again so starting this thread for anyone interested. Quick rundown of the rules - Must pick one team to win straight up each week - Can only pick each team to win once - Only games played Thurs, Friday and Saturday are eligible for this contest (I will post schedule Sunday or Monday for the upcoming week) - Must post your pick in this thread 5 mins before the first scheduled tip off THURSDAY night. Doesn't matter if you are picking a game for Friday or Saturday you must still post your pick Thursday. The purpose of this is to not allow an added advantage picking a Fri/Sat game (if it's down to final 2 and poster A picks a thursday game and loses, poster B could simply wait out and take whomever is the biggest fav Fri/Sat, most likely Golden State knowing a win seals the contest. If they were forced to pick before knowing their opponent lost they may have used more survivor strategy not wanting to waste GS yet) Yes there are risks about taking a friday or saturday game and having a key player scratched but its no different than in NFL survivors where in most pools picks must be in before the Thurs night game and plenty of game time decisions that arent known till sunday or monday. Weigh out the risks before making your pick - No changing picks once youve posted. If you pull a moldy and feel the need to post your pick Saturday or Sunday for the next week already, you took the cavs then you see Lebron got hurt on the Tuesday game too bad, you are stuck with the Cavs. Id suggest waiting out till Wednesday at the earliest to make picks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
