Radio talk shows are driven by $$, like anything else, and they talk about what people want to listen to. And in the USA that is mainly NFL and NBA. Just like in Canada NHL gets by far the most air time on most talk shows, because its what people want to talk about the most. NBA/NFL still very popular here, but NHL is king in most markets for daily talk on a normal day (obv this past couple weeks have been dominated by SB talk).Its all about what will drive ratings up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
