FISHHEAD
......and the choices for the 4th and possibly 5th starter aren't to shabby in their own rights. Steven Wright is probably a gimme, considering he was an All-Star who missed the postseason only because of a freak injury. Eduardo Rodriguez is the future, a left-handed youngster with room to grow. Drew Pomeranz struggled a bit with the American League, but he was an All-Star last year, and the Red Sox gave up one of their best pitching prospects for him specifically because they envisioned him in the rotation for a long time. Clay Buchholz rediscovered his form in the bullpen, and he took it back to the rotation when the situation required it. He’ll make $13.5 million this year, and he should probably get a chance to start somewhere in this market. Henry Owens is still well regarded-ish. Brian Johnson is still about to Sox, and he salutes you. Really, the Red Sox are this year’s Dodgers, with starters that go NINE DEEP, with the exception that they’ve built a rotation that’s already top-heavy. They shouldn’t have to wonder who’s starting their postseason games.

Timely Hitting
Says rotation is 9 deep, lists 8 pitchers, one who's on the Phillies, one that is absolutely terrible (Owens), one who can't stay healthy and is terrible in the AL (Pom) and one who can't throw strikes and is an overrated bum (Erod). Classic fish thread.

Sharp Square
Zero chance. no such thing in baseball any change opens up that chance a guy doesn't adapt quickly and all it takes is a slow start in a new city esp a big market city for the dominoes to start tumbling. Seems to feed off it and he's wanted to compete since he got into the league. His desire to win made him look like an idiot a few times with the real sox. Think this might be his best year.
