WVU
I don't really know any of you guys, but based on your posts and my impression of them here is what I got. Ground rules:Only 1 event per posterPicking posters based on their peak heydayIntent is not to insult, but to prop up potential
WVU
First up 100 meters. Poster smoke will be our guy. I always thought smoke was black, so he gets the obvious nod here.
WVU
400 meters Weinke could be our guy here. Solid built athlete with a very lengthy stride. He is also an FSU guy and they dominate the 400 meters. Nice weather allows him to train year round.
Teddy kgb
800 meter butterfly Gotta go with Kingrevolver because he must be a good swimmer to get into my country the way he did....
Dingo
Balco obviously gets to shoot the starters pistol

WVU
Hammer throw Cork Town's very own Billie gets the obvious nod here. He holds the 3rd best bench press in the SE central lower Detroit basin. Most guys don't even know what the hammer throw is, but Billie has been tossing the old ball and chain around for years. WVU
Javelin Joeybags gets the spot here. A one time football trash can throw champion, Joey isn't the strongest or fastest, but his carefully exploited technique allows him to throw the spear with precision. WVU
Shotput Mikey Anks. He is built like a bull. Strong and tough. I've seen him toss drinks over and over into the mini fridge in Costa Rica. That takes stamina, and Mikey has it.
WVU
5000 meters I am putting myself, WVU, into this event. I have run sub 14 minutes on the track and 14:12 on the roads. I doubt anyone else here has ever broken 18 minutes. There is no doubt I would have beaten everyone here in the trials by 2 laps.
WVU
Discus Boats gets this spot. He is a big guy, with big hands and feet. His size 14s would give him good balance in the throwing circle.
WVU
1500/1600/mile run This event goes to poster Fishhead. Fish was a very good 3 sport athlete. He is long and lean and knows how to throw those 'bows which is key to getting out of the pack.
WVU
Pole vault Poster bookbraker gets this simply because no one else would try it. The poor guy gets left off every poster list so let's just say this was a sympathy pick.
WVU
Hurdles, 110 and 400 meters IAG takes this spot. She isn't fast or particularly athletic but is still a great watch as she bounces over the hurdles, knocking down about 60% of them on her way to the finish. As long as she avoids the DQ we have a great shot at points here.
Guest boatboatboat
a great watch as she bounces over the hurdles,we all serve a purpose
WVU
Sleepy gets the start in the Marathon, We have seen his video, we know he can run. He has a marathon gate and I am fully confident he will do whatever it takes including mapping out his own shortcut back to the track for the finish. WVU
Decathlon Poster, Deemer is our best athlete at TGF and if you don't believe it just ask his mom. He will not only do well in this, he will break world records in all 10 events. He will most definitely be featured on a box of cereal and then go on to break all the women's records after his sex change transition. IAG
Excellent list.
WVU
10,000 meters This is Milwaukee Micheal's event to lose. Mike has a lanky build and quite honestly is the only poster who can correctly count 24 1/2 laps. He originally was entered into the discus throw until he found out the discs were much heavier than competition frisbees.
FISHHEAD
First up 100 meters.Poster smoke will be our guy. I always thought smoke was black, so he gets the obvious nod here.Ran a 10.4 100 yd dash in HS
WVU
High jump This was the easiest roster pick. Poster Moldy, standing nearly 7 feet tall and only 130 pounds gives him the physical tools required for this event. He will quickly develop his own version of the Fosbury Flop. WVU
Ran a 10.4 100 yd dash in HSNot be confused with the 100 meters. This translates to a 11.37 100 meter time. Your top speed would have been about 19.7 mph. Decent, but not noteworthy.
Guest boatboatboat
Decent, but not noteworthy.*wearing red wing steel toe boots, cover alls and carrying a bag of seed corn
