rdalert447
Thanks, pal. I'll try to apply them to today's card. It's a muddy mess here so expecting a lot of changes.
WeinkeToWarrick
Appreciate the opinions, RD. I will never bet on Paco Lopez though...I've watched him have too many strange strange rides over the years to not believe he's thrown a couple races on a favorite
rdalert447
Thu 5/25/17Played three races today: Race 2$20 win #3 Over My Head 20-1$2 exbx 3-5Horse doesn't like to win often, and has some second and third-itis, but she's gonna be a huge price and these are the types of races this trainer survives on. Rainy muddy day, no one paying attention to the card, and a real no name jockey. But, some of her best efforts have been on wet tracks so figured it's worth a twenty at around 30-1. Race 3$20 win #2 River Deep 10-1$2 exbx 2/3,5$2 DD 2/3,5,8Horse showed some good speed last out, off of a very long layoff. So the fade job it pulled can be excused. Natural progression has this horse on or near the lead, with some more stamina off that last effort. Might be long gone on the sealed track by the time the other horses start moving. Always value with Tagg dirt starters, as opposed to his turfers. Race 5$20 win #9 Unlimited Resource 20-1Parx trainer pulled a nice upset at Aqu over the winter, and this one has a great mud win on the front end, back on 3/28. Parx horses seem to fit well in NY claimed. Silvera a solid Parx based rider. Good luck folks!
Brayden11
I played the Morrison horse also. Good luck.
rdalert447
Today would be a great day for that one. Good luck!
Brayden11
Surprised you passed on the Contessa horse in the 5th..
rdalert447
I only play him when the horse is owned by Winning Move Stable. Otherwise I can't get a good read on him.

rdalert447
Third-itis for that Morrison horse. She always does enough to keep me interested. I'm such a sucker.
Brayden11
Had the 1-3 exacta box, could have been a nice score at 39-

rdalert447
I only play him when the horse is owned by Winning Move Stable. Otherwise I can't get a good read on him.Just a heads up, trainer Robertino Diodoro from Canterbury/Oaklawn/Turf Paradise/Santa Anita etc has one entered for Winning Move Stable tomorrow(Race 5, #1). Diodoro has four wins already in his first full NY meet, and if he's getting good owners like Winning Move, he should be a fixture in the winners circle. rdalert447
Fri 5/26/17Tough card with all the scratches. Looking to bet the following horses, but wouldn't bet any of them under 4-1.... Race 3$20 win #8 Cozzy Spring 8-1$1 P3 8/ALL/1Charlton Baker has two MTO's entered today. This one looks to have the most value potential. He had a $40 winner last week, so be on alert for anything he sends out. Race 5$20 win #1 Ray'swarrior 7/2See above post about Diodoro. 4-1 might be a stretch, but it's interesting that he claims this one at Kee, then brings it to NY for its first start, for owners that excell first off the claim.... Race 9$20 win #12 Beyond the Green 8-1$2 exbx 2-12As mentioned earlier, Ryerson/Generazio horses are on fire. 8-1 might be a pipe dream, as both NYRA handicappers tab it on top. Good luck, men. yisman
bet down to 8/5 after the #2 scratched onto r9
yisman
as for r9, like several other races, most of the original horses are scratched, so I don't think there's any chance of 8/1 everything's going to be less
rdalert447
Bet the wrong Baker horse. Never fails....
shooterman
Did not watch the race but it came in 7,12,2B. Beyond the Green paid 4.40 3.00. Nice job today rd even though no profit unless you went with place bets like believe it or not, I did. Thanks!
rdalert447
Not me, Shooterman. Probably a day I should've taken off, knowing that the prices wouldn't be there. Some day I'll act disciplined......
rdalert447
Nice call. Easy winnerbet down to 8/5 after the #2 scratched onto r9Brutal price. Will keep an eye on that guy though.
rdalert447
Sat 5/27/17Bet a few today: Race 3$20 win #2 Castaway 7/2$2 exbx 2-6Another first off the claim for Diodoro/Winning Move. Low price but the guy is on fire. Race 5$20 win #4 One Eyed Ray 20-1$1 Ex ALL/4Long layoff but horse has some decent back class, and I'm encouraged that Farro chooses an Allowance race to bring him back in. She could easily sneak him by in a claimer. J.Ortiz doesn't hurt, as she doesn't usually use the top tier riders. Race 7$20 win #1 Now Blessed 20-1$1 ex ALL/1Sticking with the hot hand in Diodoro. Not gonna pass on this price, as hot as he is. Good luck today, folks.
rdalert447
Adding one more. Race 10$20 win #9 Psychic Energy 5-1Can't see getting 5-1 on this horse, but maybe it gets lost in the shuffle like the Baker horse yesterday. Rice is on fire, horse had a GREAT turf debut last out, and Rice does her best work going long on turf. Think the morning line is off.
