The fuck down the street from me tried to pull this shit on me. In fact, he was getting away with it for months before I happened to notice and it was .99 cents per transaction. I told him he could charge for debit but not for credit, he tells me fine, I don;t take credit. Only went back when it was the only place open and made sure to pay cash. His wife still tries to tell me every time I go in that it's not illegal. She's lucky i'm nice and I don't report them.
