My cat has been sick last couple days though, so reminds me to cherish any time I have with her. She is still young, but you never know. Teddy kgb Posted July 23, 2017 Report Share Posted July 23, 2017 I remember bringing my Great Dane to the vet on his final day, he was old and tired and hurting.....vet came out and grabbed his leash from me and my Brutus looked back at me and I told the vet to stop and went to one knee and Brutus put his paw on my shoulder as to say goodbye......I walked out of the office crying like a baby......will never forget Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As you know, I put my dog down last December. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done,but the best thing I could do for him. Never easy. FrogFries Posted July 23, 2017 Report Share Posted July 23, 2017 Had to put my dog down years ago @ the time felt terrible. Now looking back on it was the best thing I ever did for him. It was his time and he knew before I did when he stopped eating the day before and could not walk around. VET said he probably had cancer...
