Was I legit annoyed that the dope went scorched earth when I was on vacation and when I was the one that pointed out to HIM that I still had 100 for him only for him to call me a stiff and shit? Yes. I dont think I could have been more transparent about the date I got home and couldnt have been more transparent when I would pay everyone out. Amazing everyone was paid when I said. Doing 60 million a year in revenues yet didnt have any advanced reporting or analytics in place - archaic as fuck. Been a big project but I enjoy database building and I'm one of the only people working in finance that have business operations experience which helps me communicate better with ops people who typically don't understand the lingo. Everything necessary to build and run an app is contained within python. With R, if you're integrating with an app, you need to access it through COM interop and translate R objects to whatever data types are in the language you're coding in. How are you building databases?I'm building most of my models in PowerBI using A LOT of manual data sets from years past and pairing those to new auto-pulled data from multiple source softwares. It hasnt been the cleanest transition, and the manual data had a lot of cleanup issues (breaking news!) Our source reporting format changed as well this year, which made it all the more fun. After I clean up all the work and get the sets to match, I use PowerBI to build all measures and analytics using both R and DAX. This would be as far as I go from a coding standpoint. I'm not sure I'd say I'm a "coder." I've built the models and I maintain them now, but my work is more directed towards analysis of said outputs while upholding the data integrity of the inputs. As of now I'm working with a lot of historical data and just getting into the realm of forecasting and budgeting based on future. If it wasnt for trolling javy at peeps, I havent really been on forums in a long time. I remembered calling lamar jackson years ago so in classic timely fashion I had to return for a post to pat myself on the back. Like brick and dont think his intent was the scam people.
