GreenDoberman
Myself, I'd get winded of I drove 26.2 miles much less ran them. Seems like the books should put some action up on this. Might go watch to see if it motivates me.
Bimmercando
I thought it was a new exercise regime for gamblers. One where you run to every sportsbook on the strip and make a livegame wager at each "station".

Sol Aristatel
Only place I might be running to tonight in the greater LV metropolitan area is the ATM at the Red Rock. -FH-. Send some reinforcements. Its a fucking bloodbath over here.

KingRevolver
Number of posters who would finish Under 0.5 -100000 I'd finish it. Might have to walk most of it, but I'd finish it just to say I did. I think most posters would do that, too.
KingRevolver
Brock would run for two miles, see a cheeseburger, and drop out.

Sol Aristatel
That progressive double double machine I hit for $1,485 is at $1,300+. Pass. At some point, it becomes +EV again after it hits $1,200. But we aren't in the ballpark yet.

I think most posters would do that, too. They have time limits and cutoff points. I think the max is 5 hours. Doesn't sound like much if a pace but that's not walkable

WVU
i could run it in 3:30 with light preparation.
GreenDoberman
Winner ran it in 2:38. Seems kind of slow. Don't know if it is a hard course. Seems WVU could come close to that in his heyday.
Heartman
i could run it in 3:30 with light preparation. Even with your running experience you would still need to train about 40 to 50 miles a week for 4 months to make it in 3:30 imo.

WVU
Do you still run and train?sometimes but not on a regular basis. I could still run a 5k in a decent time, but a marathon would be very tough.
Bfo
I was a 2:16 guy when I was 20Seriously? I think Alberto Salazar only was able to break 2:10 a couple times and he was one of the best in the world. Not an exact contemporary of yours but probably only a 10 year or so difference. Heartman
Back in the late 80's/early 90's I was hauling garbage in Eugene Oregon. Saw Alberto Salazar out training every week on my route. Also saw Mary Decker Slaney out training.
