po69
Absolutely not! He plays in a local Houston poker club. He owns about 7 Convenienvce Stores/Washaterias in addition to some other places I think. He plays in the 10/25 Nolimit game. He usually buys in for around 10k each time though there are guys who buy in for more than that. What is funny is how little the big players tip. Even if the pot is $15000, the guys tip $5. Some of them tip $1. Are you guys aware how much money most guys tip each year even at $1 per hand? Alot of the older guys who play 50 hours a week would never tip more than $1. Lets say that they have a low win rate of 2 hands per hour. That is $100 a week or around $5000 per year, and that is if they NEVER give more than $1 a hand

sleepy
yeah the tip and rake kill most players unless it's a really juicy game against people giving their money away, no real point to playing poker in a casino I usually never tip more than a $1 unless a win a huge $200+ pot These dealers are easily making $20-$25 an hour with everyone just tipping a dollar Most of them suck anyways and the $1 tip is an over tip

KingRevolver
In the course of the last couple of months... I've binge-watched High Stakes Poker, I only have one more season to go, and Sammy Farha was fun to watch. Guy would gamble with any two cards, didn't matter what they were. Funny guy, too. LOL I always tipped a couple of bucks, but I wasn't happy doing it because I knew it was taking a chunk out of my winnings in the long run. But then again, I don't want to look like a cheap ass to the rest of the table.

People and especially gamblers are so stupid.
