No, I said a lot of them would try gambling with major amounts of money. But that is a long-term forecast. It will take years for the market to develop in New Jersey.

But if New York comes online, watch out.

There is already a huge market there.

Why, you disagree. I am in the minority here. If everyone agrees that something is going to happen, bet against it.

You are 100% off base on everything you've posted here.

Nobody looks to New Jersey for ANYTHING.

USA market leader?  HAHAHAHA, The Asian and European markets dwarf anything the US might become in volume.

Hoffa you do not even know that you do not have the right to trial by jury. Wake up. Sports betting is about to be legal in New Jersey. You are going to be even more confused in a few years than you are today.

Most books get their lines from LVSC.  Some books clone the market.  Not Bookmaker.

The market clones Bookmaker/Pinnacle or some combination. Does LVSC set openers and have lines up before Bookmaker and the others increase limits. I don't know the first thing about Vegas lines because I ignore them. But from what I know of their early lines, they are guaranteed money.

What happens this year or even in the next few years will have little meaning. Delaware is completely irrelevant. Delaware is a follower. Not a leader. Let's see what the New Jersey market looks like once there are maybe five operations taking bets. Then we will have a feel for where things are.

Right now, these casinos are just bidding their time waiting to get this stuff on the books. Once they do, they will go to work.

I said some books.  Not all.  Mobile apps make it appear that all Nevada books are cloning today because people are either betting at the same time or chasing offshore steam.

Just weird.  How is Delaware following?  They have it out in front of every other state.

I'm sorry is New Jersey not still a shithole?

Well, would we have legalized sports betting if it were up to Delaware? Not a chance in hell. They are following NJ right down the line. They are going to do every single thing the way NJ does it. They are even afraid of the NCAA. They are not serious about this.

Not if it's a legit market and they move on volume.  Does Pinnacle or Bookmaker get their ass handed to them?  How do they do it?

OK, from what I understand Vegas has 3% of the US betting market or some such. They are not really even in the game all that much.

Now that is about to change over a period of years when US casinos actually become a significant handle of the US market.

Of course, it's going to change.  What do you think I'm talking about?

That is still going to take probably a decade. People like yourself will not be allowed to bet in Delaware. So the market is going to be determined by the major offshores. When Will Hill has sees Bookmaker move a point, they are moving without question no matter what their book says.

In any case, the books are not going to have different positions because the US market is going to move in the right direction. So adding more people to the market is just going to make the market more efficient. So the idea that there are going to be varying market prices is a false premise. That cannot really happen.

It could be that the US market will be slightly square but the books are going to know that and move off Bookmaker and try to make a profit by holding more on the sharp side.

At some point, a major US bookmaking operation will emerge and be considered to have the sharpest lines and lines will move off them.

But that really changes little. There will never be a time when there will be varying market prices because the market knows to slam those numbers blindly.
