Bfo
Well never mind, I guess the host country qualifies automatically anyway.I wonder if all 3 hosts will get auto bids, with the field expanding to 48 I would assume they would. Balco
Maybe USA will be good enough to qualify by then.USA was already good enough to qualify last time out. Bruce Arena has no clue how to scout talent or make a starting lineup. Should of played played our youth instead of washed up veterans. Bump City
wow no chicago if kansas city gets cut then nothing in the midwestChicago doesn't have a stadium to host it. One of the big gaffes with soldier field is they didn't add enough seats to qualify for things like the World Cup and Super Bowl. For such a large convention city thats pretty embarrassing. And they're not going to build a stadium just for that given our absurd tax rates already.
WVU
KC and Denver don't make much sense. Neither does cinci or Nashville.

Final at MetLife in NY Mexico and Canada only get 10 games each.

rito
rito, does Mexico and Canada both get an auto entry? They haven't decided yet. Which is lol. But concacaf gets 6 automatic spots (plus 1 shot in a mini tourney for another spot) in this new ridiculous 45 team format. So USA/Mexico basically can't not qualify ever. So interesting to see what they do. I can't imagine them giving 3 host slots and then 6 more conacaf slots unless we really want to see Antigua and Barbados in the WC. But, if they make them qualify Canada could certainly miss out.

They will take 3 of the automatic 3 spots... and 3.5 spots will be awarded to the rest (CR, Panama, Jamaica and Honduras) is my prediction... unless Guate and Salvador really make some improvements. Trinidad also has a chance... Nicaragua has grown tons and plays better than any of those former dutch colony islands
