Machiavelli
And they wouldn't be any better than they are today while giving away a nice pick in a loaded draft. A healthy Leonard would be better than Love and whomever they draft. May not beat the Warriors but what it would do, in theory, is keep LBJ around CLE another year at least. THAT would be valuable in and of itself.
Machiavelli
BUt I think CLE ultimately would want to just get started on their rebuild if LBJ wants out.

Kawhi's numbers would go down just like Love's did when he went to Cleveland. Both were the centerpieces of their team. Kawhi won't get as many touches in Cleveland as he did in SA. Machiavelli
Yeah but Kawhi is a top--if not the top--defensive player in the league. That would be great v GSW and Durant if they were to meet yet again.

Machiavelli
I would bet against them even making it out of the East next year if that trade happens. That's fair. Boston absolutely loaded and Philly may add something nice in FA with their cap space.
KingRevolver
Turns out the Lakers are the front runners for Kawhi No one wants to play in New York.
rjt
Lakers should trade for Pop. Luke Walton can’t coach a super team. Lebron would have him fired in a week

MonkeyF0cker
You think the Celtics even make the playoffs with that squad and pretty much any other coach?

Teddy kgb
You think the Celtics even make the playoffs with that squad and pretty much any other coach?Kyrie and the 2nd beat player got them to the playoffs, after that they played cream puffs and lost 4 of 5 vs LeBron and his high school
MonkeyF0cker
They beat two teams in the playoffs with better players than they have. Not cream puffs. Two teams that are going to be very good teams in the near future. Their best players were a 20 year old rookie and a 31 year old center who averages 12 points a game. It's not even close to the same talent as the Bucks, 76ers, or Cavs.
Machiavelli
Let's not discount that Boston roster. Incredible talent there--even with Hayward/Irving out. Tatum/Brown are awesome. On another note, there was some chatter of the Suns getting involved in Kawhi to either acquire him or serve as a 3rd party. But F all that....I just want them to grab Ayton and try building slowly on their timeline, as we aren't gonna form no super team in Phx anytime soon. Machiavelli
But Stevens' job of coaching cannot be dismissed, either. Guy is among the best 3 in the game--if not better than Pop.
Bump City
Someone please explain how Paul george, kawhi and lebron could play on the same team? Lol. I guess someone is going small at the four and playing a 3 at the 2? Seems like a pretty poor fit. Pg13 staying in OKC. Still not convinced kawhi is going anywhere. Bump City
You think the Celtics even make the playoffs with that squad and pretty much any other coach?Kawhi Leonard was a later pick. People said pop would take a big step back as duncan got old and they didn't miss a beat. They made the playoffs this year with guys like bertans and Brandon Paul playing significant minutes.
