IAG
In the twin cities, MPR is the 9th most popular station, it's share is 4.4I was comparing it to other public radio stations.
IAG
I checked. It has the largest market share of any public radio network. Nearly 15 percent of Minnesotans over the age of 12 listen to MPR every week.
RDTrains
I said no one listens, that doesn't mean zero, that means in insignificant number. A radio station that gets a 3% share would classify as insignificant in my book. Well then you need to get a new book. First Merlin says no one listens, then he claims he meant ratings. Meanwhile NPR is breaking records. Surrender noted. NPR says its hourly newscasts, carried on 947 stations, are heard by nearly 28.7 million listeners. And the network says “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered” now have weekly audiences of nearly 14.9 million and 14.7 million, respectively. The two flagship news magazines are the “two largest news/talk radio programs in the country, and larger than many well-known television news programs,” the network claims.
