I said no one listens, that doesn't mean zero, that means in insignificant number. A radio station that gets a 3% share would classify as insignificant in my book.

Well then you need to get a new book. First Merlin says no one listens, then he claims he meant ratings.

Meanwhile NPR is breaking records. Surrender noted.

 

NPR says its hourly newscasts, carried on 947 stations, are heard by nearly 28.7 million listeners. And the network says “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered” now have weekly audiences of nearly 14.9 million and 14.7 million, respectively. The two flagship news magazines are the “two largest news/talk radio programs in the country, and larger than many well-known television news programs,” the network claims.

So what, rush limbaugh has huge numbers of listeners( a quick google gives 20 million), does that mean   most people are spending their days listening to rush limbaugh - hell no.
