Teddy kgb
Doing a big parking structure and I was given 430hrs man hours for ‘validation’ (testing) Look closely and you can see the old plug under the pipe trick, fill up a 10’ head full of water and put a bottle on top that will never move and don’t fill shit up as far as the system goes.... I grin when I win.....

Teddy kgb
What did you do here? Love this shit. Your move, Houser.Instead of rolling out 300’ of hose or renting a water truck to fill a storm drain system up with water that I already know isn’t going to leak, what I do is Cap the bottom end of my test riser and just fill that up.... That system I did today was almost 400’ and it would have took 2 guys all day to test (16hr) instead I filled it up in 30min and put 15.5hrs in my back pocket to use as I wish. Teddy kgb
And like I said, I was given 430hrs for the job wide validation and I will use 30..... Use 200 to drink and post and 200 under budget and be a hero once again
WVU
How do you know for sure it won't leak?
Teddy kgb
How do you know for sure it won't leak?Who cares if it does? It’s rain water not sewage and it would be a tiny leak if anything and just get soaked up in the underground

Teddy kgb
Not a pressurized system where it would leak 24/7/365 but a drain line that I could probably install without glue and still never have any effect on the building....it rains like 10x a year but it could rain everyday and still no effect

WeinkeToWarrick
Can’t wait til there’s a landslide and Teddy’s building is sliding down the street while everything nearby is standing tall. Hopefully CNN gets video.

bookbraker
This doesn't happen often but Ted is right. Where do you guys think rain water goes?
Teddy kgb
You guys aren’t plumbers so it sounds serious.....it’s not I don’t know One plumber who if he did an addition on his own home Without a city permit (no inspection) that would still test the systems. I would test the gas and that’s it....
housepicks
What did you do here? Love this shit. Your move, Houser. No move to make. Now teddy has some time in his job to fuck around. He’s not bringing home anymore money. He still lost his paycheck. He still wears tight ass $12 rustlers.Up until last week he was wearing the most beat up boots on the job. I take paid days off all the time and tell the crew I’m staying home to list and order material. Drinking on the job doesn’t pay your man, it just makes you a drunk. Teddy kgb
This doesn't happen often but Ted is right. Where do you guys think rain water goes?I forgot about that part, it’s an open ended system it will never backup like a sewer system. It’s a way to save hours on a job that most don’t think of or too scared to try....

Teddy kgb
Agree with kgb I’m surprised the building inspector doesnt have to sign off on the (legit) testHe does.....he’s not in on the scam he’s being scammed I used to not even fill up the test head and just put a cap on the bottle and the top of the test riser until an inspector hit it off one time with a stick.....I wasn’t doing it at the time but has always prevented me from trying again
Teddy kgb
No air test on a commercial job?I could test at 5psi but there’s a 24hr spec test in this job and air ain’t going to hold that long plus it’s dangerous to test air on pvc
