You're right, we also need serious discussion on how to reform entitlements, to address out of control deficit spending, the opioid problem, and a bunch of others. After trumps meeting with Xi, china has agreed to immediately purchase large amts of agricultural and other products from us, they are immediately naming fentenal as a controlled substance(china produced almost all of that which is smuggled here), and most importantly they have agreed to begin talks to resolve all other issues(intellectual property theft chief among them). In return all we/Trump has given up is a 90 day delay in the imposition of higher and additional tariffs on $280 billion in chinese goods that trump had threatened to impose Jan 1. China also agreed that if both parties dont come to an agreement, the tariffs will take effect. An incredible win for trump and the nation.
