Let's begin the week with a winner.

20 Dime Bankroll Builder

Well both starters did their job as it was 2-2 in the 7th and then the Yankees bullpen implodes and it falls 6-2 and the game goes Over the total.

I am so glad that week is over. Absolutely horrible. (Just like last week, lol)

Bottom line: This is a must win week. Simple as that.

So after an unbelievable start to the month of August I have flat out failed to get it done.

Bottom line when you can't hit the big play, you are going to come up short.

Now it's all about building momentum into the start of College football on Thursday.

Let's build that momentum with a winner tonight.

Let's build off that winner Wednesday with #4 in a row.

40 Dime Double Down Bankroll Builder

Well, my 3rd straight winner was the wire to wire destruction I said it would be as Gio Gonzalez dominates the Marlins again 8-1 for winning day #3 in a row.

That was after the D'backs figured out a way to get the win 3-1 over the Dodgers on Tuesday night.

That was after finally seeing a game go the way I handicapped it as Georgia Tech runs all over Tennessee in getting the cover Monday night.

Tonight I look to make it 4 in a row.

I needed to string together some winners and I have done that the last 3 days but it won't mean much unless I follow it up with another winner tonight.

Winning streaks can't start until you get those first few and I've done that and now it's time for #4 in a row.

Let's get it done.

LET'S CONTINUE THE WEEK WITH

MY 6TH STRAIGHT WINNER

3 TIMES STRONGER THAN WEDNESDAY'S 20 DIMER

D'Backs 3-1 over Dodgers

3 TIMES STRONGER AS MONDAY'S 20 DIMER

G'Tech covering against Tenn

Here is what I told the world about Purdue last night:

Now we find out just how good they are.

As +25 1/2 point home dogs the Purdue Boilermakers made Louisville very nervous leading 14-10 and 28-25 with 10 minutes to go.

The Cardinals scored the final 10 to win 35-28 and avoid the major upset.

Needless to say, new head coach Jeff Brohm, who came over from Western Kentucky, has Boilermaker fans feeling pretty good about his football team.

Now he looks to go to 5-0 against the MAC in his coaching career.

Ohio rolls in off a destruction of Hampton 59-0 but now must take a major step up here at Purdue.

I understand it's hard to believe Purdue is favored over anyone but it just goes to show you how good a coach Brohm is.

With Purdue having won 14 straight home openers and 19 of their last 20, I have no problem laying the points as the Boilers get their first win of the year.

Lay the small wood tonight.

LET'S MAKE IT
6 OUT OF 8

50 DIME
MONDAY NIGHT
BANKROLL BUILDER

Saints - Vikings

4-2 THIS WEEK

A winning day and a winning week.

50 Dime Monday Night Bankroll Builder

Well, after sweeping the board Monday thru Friday with 5 straight winners, I come up short on Saturday with Arizona and Sunday with the Giants.

Let's recap:

Monday - 20 Dime Winner Georgia Tech over Tennessee

Tuesday - 20 Dime Winner Arizona 3-1 over the Dodgers

Wednesday - 20 Dime Winner Nationals 8-1 over Marlins

Thursday - 40 Dime Winner KC/New England Over 48

Friday - 20 Dime Winner Purdue destroys Ohio

Saturday - 60 Dime Loss Arizona over Houston

Saturday - 60 Dime Loss Giants over Dallas

You add it all up and you will find my winning week has come down to this 50 dimer tonight and I like my chances to produce the much needed winning week.

My goal is always the same:  Produce the winning week and regardless of what transpired over the weekend, that goal gets met with this winner tonight.

I don't care if it's 1 dime, 10 dimes, 20 dimes or 100 dimes, a winning week of any amount is a winning week and builds momentum.

That momentum is crucial heading into next week.  End of story.

Let's get it done.
