Is Lebron racist, probably, but he is definitely low IQ. He never went to college, and it's unlikely he tried or gave a shit in high school.

For those who say that his comments that "NFL owners are old white men" are factual and not racist, would they same the same thing about a white person saying that criminals are "young black men"?

Most are older white men.

As far as slave mentality that's a bit of a stretch.

Name me another group of slave owners that have made more poor minorities rich.

Now, if not wanting them to Express their social stances while being paid to play a game makes the owners slave drivers than looks like almost every other company in the world should be classified the same.

NFL owners do have a slave mentality. That is why they have drafts which are basically slave auctions. That owners then owns that person's right to work. If he does not work for him under what he agrees to, he cannot play. If that is not a slave mentality, I don't know what it. There is nothing a rich man hates more than a free market.

They have drafts(like every other sports league) to try to maintain at least a semblance of parity and allow smaller markets to compete with large ones. If your comment was serious I feel sorry for you.

You are a moron. They have drafts because it controls labor and reduces their costs. They do not have to bid for players and can collude on prices. They also have been given an exemption from labor laws by politicians who prefer the arrangement. Owners would not even allow for free agency and didn't until the player unions forced it on them.

Revenue sharing provides parity. They don't like revenue sharing very much because it limits how much they can make.

Then contract 75% of teams and let the top of the top go completely free market. Now is owner collusion collision such allowed in this "free market"?

The other lessor players/slaves can easily find another "job". Nathan Peterman really shouldn't be employed playing football anyway.

Let the top teams go completely free market or top players? Why would you have a hybrid system?

There will never be a free market for players as long as the owners can help it because it will drive up prices. Just as the NFL will always cooperate with the NCAA and give the NCAA players it might want because the NCAA develops their players for free. It is well worth passing on a couple of years of a player if you get your talent developed for free.

Not hybrid. Get rid of 75% of teams that would be pointless in having with a complete free market.

I don’t get Lebrons point. The NFL is doing the same thing as the NBA.

They can't get rid of 75% of teams because there is demand. The more teams you have, the more interest in the league you have across the country. And if you allow enough NFL caliber cities to be available, a rival league will form.
