They want a ton of yismans getting a degen high on small bets that are mostly boring. So not sure live betting is ever really going to be a thing. They will be able to offer small limits on live betting because they will say if you want to bet bigger you can just bet the full game bets. I hear pro gamblers kind of fantasizing about live betting being at reduced juiced and the opportunities that will create but I don't think that is what the sportsbooks are planning on. US sports also seem a lot more complex for live betting than soccer. Live betting to me seems like an in casino thing rather than something people will want to do on their phone or laptop. Whereas, if you are betting Fox Bets on your phone, you have to go through hell trying to find bets. Soccer is also something that it seems is a perfect sport for live betting because not much has changed and you've got lots of time to think. Whereas, if you have the under on Boise State and you are watching it on ESPN, you've got enough sweat as it is. You've got too much stress to be fiddling for other bets and trying to live bet. I can see how live betting works for soccer. That is such a slow game and you see it play out, so you can adjust your bets as it goes.
