Anything over 7 M per year is just flat out too much to give to a RB. it's probably the least valuable position on the team and the easiest one to fill (outside of special teams) I give mad credit to Jerry Jones for having the smarts to not give a shit if Murray walked. He stood strong throughout the process and his highest reported offer to Murray was only 5 M per year. he probably knew no chance Murray would sign that and Demarco was apparently offended when that offer came in but Jerry knows his OL created that production for murray last year.
