joeybagadonuts
Yang with a classy statement tonight about his quitting, he said he wouldn't feel good accepting peoples time and money when there's no hope to win. Of course he is the smartest guy they had, typical that he didn't do shit.Probably the only candidate I might have felt decent about backing. Teddy kgb
Hard to believe anyone outside of someone with student loan debt would vote for Bernie......get rid of the greatest business mind we’ve had in office for someone who will collapse our economy. theguesser
I strongly believe in a ‘They’......look for another Bernie Heart Attack as soon as he pulls out to an insurmountable leadThat is actually a real fear and why I didn't support Bernie originally. Age and health. I don't believe in any conspiracy. I believe in reality and the reality is he's old, and has a heart trouble history. tailsyoulose
The Idiot got 8% of black vote in 2016. Seriously doubt he breaks 10% this time. i think he gets ~18-20% of black men, and ~5% of black women. remember, he got 8% in 2016 but he was running against clinton - and blacks LOVE clinton. plus, in 2016 the media still had scare tactics on their side - they threw every race card they could at trump. theyre still doing it but after 4 years that angle is beginning to look very tired and stale. add to that the fact that trump is really beating his chest over black unemployment, wages, and criminal justice reform - blacks will obviously still vote dem but hes got some ammo now to win over some open minded people, and will DEFINITELY surpass his 2016 results, by a LOT. mainly among black men, because the farther the dem party slides into being a party that represents womenwomenwomen, the more black men will leave. they are not into all the #metoo feminist shit. and they used to love trumps tough guy alpha shtick until all the white media journos brainwashed them to hate him. i see the black male vote being a huge story when the votes are counted in november. regardless, whoever wins the dem nom the VP is 100% certain to be black. has to be to give them any chance at all. He can make more $$$ in the private sector, obviously, but if he sticks with politics, he can definitely help our nation with his approach to problems and situations with data and outside the box thinking. He is very people-oriented while respecting business. Would like to see how that works in gov't --even if on a local level.

mikeman
Bill Weld got 9% in NH against The Idiot. He did better than Biden, LMAO. 9% in the liberal northeast, I think weld was from mass, right? Trump would prob lose some R's in NY too, it means nothing. around 128000 turned out on the R side tonight, double obamas 60000 in 2012. tailsyoulose
this is insane - trump on pace to get 130k votes in the MEANINGLESS REPUB PRIMARY. dems should be shitting themselves at those numbers - in past primaries, incumbents have gotten about 50k votes. bush got like 55k in 2004, obama got 48k in 2012. nuts. And it was lower than expected on the dem side(just a little), in a highly competitive, highly hyped contest.

That was never in doubt, and why I said the D candidate is gonna have to energize the D base at least as much. With Uncle Joe on his last legs, I'm far less worried about it. theguesser
If Bloomy were to get out and throw his vast money behind Amy or Mayor Pete, that would potentially stop Bernie. Other than that, or health, he's gonna be tough to stop as the last Lefty standing against 3 relative moderates.

Dont kid yourself, enthusiasm, crowd size, turnout matters. remember when obama got huge crowds running against Mccain in 2008 - it mattered, same with trump in 2016 -the media didn't want to admit it, but it indicated something, Now they're saying , well, a little low in iowa, a little low in Nh, that shit dont matter, we'll put up a socialist, a billionaire republican, a gay man, or a dull woman, that'll excite them. i dont think so. Mayor Pete and Amy would also, to a slightly lesser degree. Bloomy. Not so much. He'll have to depend on anti Idiot and Stop the Idiot sentiment, and the thought that he's competent, more than any real enthusiasm for him. You Cultists just don't get how despised she is among D's. Stacey Abrams from Ga and Andrew Gillum from Fla will be viable VP AA choices, along with The Ugandan Giant. Tulsi can appeal to moderates/R's. Also, Dems are neurotic and have "slave morality" meaning they are like what you've been saying: Desperate to beat Trump and will vote anyone D. Knowing this, Bernie can grab her and be fine. D's do what they are told. So grabbing Ind/R's is both allowable and critical.
tailsyoulose
deval gonna 'talk things over' with the wife and will announce he's quitting tomorrow. was really hoping he would score 5% here and build something off it. not gonna happen. and i dont think he registers even as a compromise candidate at a contested convention. oh well. its clear the moderates are gonna screw bernie if they can - culinary union already going into overdrive in nevada to smear him. if he doesnt get the delegates, i have no idea what happens at the convention. its gonna be wild. But it will cause some, maybe many D's to stay home. Why would any D POTUS gamble, when there's no need to? Tulsi is a pariah among D's. Just understand that.
