How about Nero Wolfe style? (From one of the novels) Oven maxed out. 500+. Don't take ANY husks or silk off. Don't even soak it. 45 minutes or so in the oven. Best ever. When you think: "I'll have corn!" Then, you turn the oven all the way up. Don't husk it. That may be an extra four (4) minutes or so. The flavor difference is worth that and more.
