A 67-year-old South Philadelphia gun store owner shot and killed a man he said was looting his business for what he suspects is the second night in a row.

Greg Isabella, who owns the Firing Line Inc, one of the oldest gun shops in the city, said he saw a group of looters on his surveillance video breaking a padlock on his gate using bolt cutters and descending on his shop in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred just after 4 a.m. when Isabella then confronted the thieves, and one -- in a group of what he says consisted of 3 or 4 people-- pointed a gun at him, according to reports by Fox affiliate WTFX.

Isabella fatally shot the gun-wielding robber using an AR-15 and the alleged thief died on the scene, reports say. The owner likely injured a second suspect in the shoulder. The rest of the thieves fled, but a local hospital informed police that a man was being treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder, and police suspect he may have been involved in the botched heist.

The owner suspects that on the previous night, looters attempted to break in through a back door of the shop, ramming and beating at a steel door that showed signs of battering, and even marks that a crowbar was used to pry it open -- to no avail.

Philadelphia has been racked by violence over the last four days as some protest demanding justice for George Floyd turned vicious.

Floyd, an unarmed black man, died on Memorial Day in police custody after a white police officer in Minneapolis knelt on his neck for over 8 minutes.

On Monday night, a confrontation between police and protesters trying to shut down a major highway turned aggressive, and the SWAT team was called in. Law enforcement fired tear gas, rubber bullets and bean bags at the crowd in an effort to disperse them and several people were arrested.

Finally a feel good story.

The WAR is REAL

Virus is weakening, there might be some but not like what would've happened in March.

The reports about the virus weakening came from italian dr's and scientists who are reporting their findings about viral loads in test samples, etc, along with death numbers collapsing.

Now just because it's happening there doesn't guarantee it's happening here, because slightly different versions of the virus are all over due to it's regional mutations, but it's a good sign.

The economy has now been reopened for over 5 weeks in the early states, several weeks almost everywhere else - nothing has happened yet has it?

It's pretty clear if nothing happens from all these crowds running wild all over the country, there is no real need for social distancing anymore, stay tuned.

I got a new great idea how to handle these flash looting situations where there are not enough police.

We load up a bus with 40 of the meanest most viscous and rapid dogs.

Drive that bus to the middle of the looting area.

Inside the bus on route we have a guy poking them with a stick and getting them all riled up.

Once there we cut them loose all at once.

Over head we have a helicopter filming the carnage.

We create millions of twitter, facebook and youtube accounts and post the battle as a warning what is going to happen if you pull this shit again.

Win / Win / Win

bad guys get fucked up / no police get hurt / tremendous deterrent

Go BIG or Go Home:

Looters swipe $2.4M worth of watches from Soho Rolex store

https://nypost.com/2020/06/01/looters-swipe-2-4m-worth-of-watches-from-soho-rolex-store/

EZ Pickins...EZ MONEY... :cigar

$2.4 Million... :cigar

why wouldn't the owner fill a briefcase full of these watches and take them off premises?  He probably did and the claim will be bogus.  If you fail to board up for a hurricane, your insurance company can deny a wind damage claim.  I would think the same negligence would sink this  watch claim.

I believe they are required to.

Rolex has a data base that shows every time a watch has been serviced by a certified Rolex dealer.

I've been to several here and no way are they all checking.  Do you think they want to call the cops on their own customers?
