Boatboatboat
Is to old for the day to day grind of being a MLB mgr. Yet we are getting ready to elect a POTUS that's about the same age. We have a min age to be elected president, should we have a max age?

Boatboatboat
Do you support having a min age?
RaiseThese
I guess it has to be something, but if for some reason one day the entire country thought a 12 years old had what it takes to run the country then so be it.
Jimmy Hoffa
Tony LaRussa has forgotten more about baseball than all the other managers combined. He knows how to win.

Jimmy Hoffa
If someone told me Tony LaRussa was taking over the Dodgers tomorrow I'd be very happy. He's a visionary.
FairWarning
The big thing in Chicago media is they are worried that he's too white priviledged and won't be able to relate to the latinos on the team. He was pretty outspoken about kneeling/protesting. I am serious on this take by the local media.
RaiseThese
And them clowns are the one who are always trying to divide while blaming it on certain others. I think he has plenty of experience relating to a wide range of players by this point. Stupidity!!!

rjt
He'll have a problem with the 3 batter minimum rule for pitchers
Jimmy Hoffa
The Dodgers just won the series with serval blacks and latinos and about 22 white guys. The composition of the team and manager shouldn't make a difference. Who cares if the manager is white and all the players are minorities? FairWarning
Just now, rjt said: For sure. Hahn would never pick Larussa Timely is not happy with this hire A lot of their fan base wanted Ozzie Guillen back. He burned bridges when he left. El Chapo2017
LaRussa's last game was a victory in GM 7 of the WS. Taking this job will sully his legacy unless he wins the Series with the Sox.

He's a visionary. You have to be kidding. He was horrible with AZ. LaRussa is part of the old timers that have no biz in the game right now. To think that he would have been the Dodgers president of operations if Cohen had won the LAD bidding. Im glad we got Friedman instead.
