Pelosie is already pushing an election reform bill

Pelosi’s legislation is a massive federal power grab away from the states. The Constitution gives primary authority to the sovereign states to conduct elections. This bill empowers the federal government to micromanage elections by requiring states to get “preclearance” from Washington, D.C., before changing their election procedures.

H.R. 1 also mandates countless millions of taxpayer dollars be given to candidates for their campaigns, requiring citizens to fund candidates who those citizens actually oppose for office.

Additionally, it:

  • Forces all states to allow all convicted felons to vote.
  • Requires all states to allow same-day voter registration, which leads to voter fraud.
  • Makes it difficult for a state to discover if a voter is also voting in another state.
  • Prevents states from limiting early voting.Prevents states from limiting voting by mail.
  • Requires all states to provide free mail-in absentee ballots.
  • Criminalizes political speech that the government deems “discouraging” to voters who are statistically more likely to vote Democrat.
  • Takes redistricting away from elected leaders to give to left-leaning commissions.

The "Polling Industry" has been completely discredited.

Guys like Nate Silver should just hang it up.

That said, it was the Senate Polling that was the most horrible.

They had Gideon winning in Maine by a substantial margin.

In the end, the worst misses at the Pres Level were by the pollsters who had Biven Winning FL and NC.

The polls were really bad this time around. That Wisconsin +17 result from ABC/Washington Post for Biden was a joke at the time, and it was an even bigger joke when we saw how close the race was there.

Silver is not being lampooned nearly enough for all of his bad calls this time around. He had that ABC/Washington Post poll rated A+ on FiveThirtyEight, and it had the biggest impact of any individual poll on Wisconsin.

He also:

Repeatedly stated the polls are fine and that minor errors had been fixed in Rust Belt states even though there was no way of knowing so

Rebuked any notion of the Shy Trump voter and that Cloud Research study. The Shy Tory Affect has crossed the pond

Relied way too heavily on polls in his individual state models

And most egregiously, he did not incorporate early vote totals into his model. Anyone that knows Florida knew that Trump should have been the favorite in the final two weeks of the election. Dem support wasn't where it needed to be in important counties, and the GOP was doing very well where it needed to do well. The information was freely available and Silver didn't use it. Terrible.

I believe this is a really good situation for the GOP. You dump Trump and all his bullshit that is turning off moderates, and you are still likely to keep the Senate. The Dem leadership continues to make mind-numbingly stupid decisions, and the GOP are much better at mobilizing their base. It could be a bloodbath for Dems in 2022. GOP did a very good job of winning over Hispanic voters, and they can continue to make huge in-roads.

Who could the republicans possibly field in 2024, the same collection of losers, Rubio, Cruz, how about Jeb Bush? They're done, the trump people will be bitter and wont support any of those clowns.

Probably going to be someone that is a relative unknown at the moment.

I don't believe Cruz or Jeb will even bother to run again. Rubio might, but he won't succeed.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis is someone to keep an eye on. He has rightly touted how well Florida conducted its elections, and he has a little bit of crossover appeal with Dems. Former military and he doesn't have the baggage that will weigh down someone like Crenshaw (stupid statements, born in Scotland, and all the SEAL Team bullshit)

What many people dont get is that Trump is going to fight this as hard as he can because as he stated

"...this is no longer about any single election. This is about the integrity of our entire election process."

He is all about the United States of America and when the extent of the fraud is brought forth to the American public then even the Trump haters will have to at least thank him for bringing it to light.

Dude is a Fucking American Hero even if the reelection thing turns sour.

edit  wrong thread but still applies.

Trump will at the very least be kingmaker for the 2024 nominee. He would be wise not to run, but instead support the best nominee to continue in his footsteps, policy wise. Someone a little more normal though.

Trump will never support a republican, his kids maybe, the truth is all others are midgits compared to him. You can take your nicki haleys and kristy noems and shove them up your ass.
