few years ago N>Orleans actually lost power to a big section on the city for a week 400k without power. was during a huge heat-wave was in the 90's at 10 o'clock at night. high 80's in the middle of the night. brutal

By the way, we haven't even reached peak hurricane season, there could be another one, or even 2.
