ERBtheGREAT
I bet 1k on the superbowl and it seems I've been comped some time in Vegas. I've never been to Vegas but I know there are lots of experts here. I'd be looking to go Friday March 18th and return Sunday March 20th. Looks like I can get 1 night comped at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Park MGM or Mirage. 2 nights comped at Luxor or 3 nights comped at Excalibur. Since I'm only staying two nights, what would be the best deal/experience? Any decently priced places to eat around these hotels? Any information is greatly appreciated. sleepy
I hate going to that place during the first week of March Madness. Crowded as fuk and no place to sit in the books.
Jimmy Hoffa
Excalibur is their lower end offering and appeals more to families with kids.

I do the majority of my MGM sports transactions at Excalibur.........relatively easy in and out and sportsbook seldom busy, good staff there also. Sleepy correct, first week of March Madness is a clusterfuk, good time if one is under the age of 25, avoid otherwise. As far as rooms, when in Vegas, what good is a room other than for sleep a few hours, take the 3 nights comped at Excalibur and enjoy life. WVU
If they would comp a player’s suite at the Luxor I would take that. Otherwise go for the Mandalay Bay as it’s by far the nicest option listed. Maybe you can stay in the shooter’s suite.
MonkeyF0cker
I'd personally stay at the MGM out of those options.
milwaukee mike
mgm has a lazy river, mandalay bay has a beach (which is currently closed but should be open by then) those are the best 2 options imho a short walk down the strip from mgm to planet hollywood shops which have good food deals for breakfast/lunch, or olive garden

Agree But again, the quality of the room from a 6 to a 9 rating would not be that big of deal to me personally on a short trip, as stated, the room is going to be occupied a short time and mostly just for sleep purposes. If price/value were ZERO concern...................ParkMgm, Mandalay Bay, NyNy, Luxor, Excalibur would be the choices to stay in that order in that vicinity(this is not taking the Four Seasons or Delano into the equation)
MonkeyF0cker
The Mandalay Bay sportsbook is shit for watching games and it's a hike to everywhere else. MGM Grand is just as nice, closer to everything, has a better book, better restaurants and nightlife (with Hakkasan), and has a better poker room. ParkMGM is just bland as fuck to me - like the Monte Carlo was before they renamed it. Don't even like going in there very much.

That book is small and the viewing angle was poor as I recall.

Nearly as bad. The TV's are old and you have to crane your neck up to watch.
