Rose was supposed to catch the ball in the corner he said, that was the designed call. But he called an audible and ran to the ball instead As for the initial question, zero percent chance he banked it on purpose. Nobody banks a 3 pointer on purpose that is ridiculous. it was a lucky shot, it happens. Shump hit a lucky bank 3 pointer earlier in the game also, they even out. Bulls won, nbd on to game 4.
