I buy mine from discount tire - the original fee you pay for mounting, etc covers lifetime rotations and balancing - so yea, if they're going to rotate them they may as well spin them to see if they're balanced.

I dont buy the cheapest tires, those are crap, i buy maybe the 3rd or 4th cheapest that still have good ratings(the A, B. C thing as well as treadwear rating), for my car they prob have 25 to pick from ranging from $40 to $170/tire.

I always pay the extra $20 insurance per tire.  If you get a nail in the sidewall on your new tire, you have to buy an all new tire.  Fuck that.

Well, yeah, but I think it also depends on how close the patch is to the sidewall.  Thankfully this one was right down the middle.

Having said that, I'm getting new tires in a year, so I'm sure I'll be fine until then.  Still have plenty of thread, but I want to put something a little beefier on the truck.

I put Michelin Defnder LTX’s on the Denali and they’re the best truck tires I’ve ever bought.  Super smooth ride and not loud.  They have a little over 30k miles on them.

Who the hell passes through Harrah's Ak-Chin?  You have to go out of your way for that shit.  There's a better casino right off the I-10.

I went there when driving to Vegas one year. It was a bit out of the way….

When I lived in NY, got all my car work done at the Willet’s Point Junkyard (as seen in Kiss of Death). Looks similar to where you went today.

I dont pay for that , I went in one time with a nail and they said it was too close to the sidewall and they still gave me a prorated discount on a new tire, because the tire was fairly new i only paid  about $20 for a new tire. If they do that i dont know why people buy that ins?
