WVU Posted July 29, 2023 Report Share Posted July 29, 2023 Holy smokes! It crossed the road right in front of me. I had to slam on the brakes. That beast would have totaled my car. A motorcycle nearly crashed into the back of me too. I’m pissed because I forgot to hit the camera button on the Tesla. This happened off Wekiva Springs road in Longwood outside of Orlando. Thomas Kovalik, of Plymouth, was driving a 1995 Harley-Davidson on Route 222 in Harwinton when he crashed into a bear at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Connecticut state police said. Kovalik was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the road, police said. He was taken to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, where he was pronounced dead.
