PACKERS 16 SEAHAWKS 36

 

- Green Bay was outgained 398 yards to 255.

- The Seahawks were just 4 for 11 on 3rd down.

- Seattle had 207 yards rushing.

- Marshawn Lynch had 110 yards on 20 carries for 5.5YPC and two touchdowns.

- Aaron Rodgers was sacked 3 times and averaged only 5.7 yards per completion.

SAINTS 34 FALCONS 37

 

- 568 total yards of offense for Atlanta, and 445 yard passing.

- The Falcons committed 10 penalties for 96 yards.

- Atlanta won the turnover battle, 2 to 1.

VIKINGS 34 RAMS 6

 

- 186 rushing yards for the Vikings. 102 on 3 carries from Cordarelle Patterson. Adrian Peterson had 75 yards on 21 attempts.

- A 47.3 QB Rating for Shaun Hill before he was pulled at halftime with "calf tightness". UDFA Austin Davis was 16 of 23 for 192 yards in the second half, but was sacked 4 times.

- The Rams had 4 fumbles and recovered all 4. They still lost the turnover battle 2-0.

BROWNS 27 STEELERS 30

 

- The Browns averaged 6.1 yards per rush on 30 attempts against Pittsburgh.

- The Steelers had 11 penalties for 96 yards.

- Ben Roethlisberger was sacked 4 times.

- Antonio Brown averaged 23.2 yards per reception on 5 catches and also karate kicked the Browns punter in the face.

- Le'veon Bell ran for 109 yards on 21 carries for Pittsburgh and scored a touchdown.

JAGUARS 17 EAGLES 34

 

- The Eagles had 3 turnovers, all in the first half.

- The Jaguars suffered from having no running game. They ran the ball only 25 times for 64 yards. Chad Henne threw 43 passes. That is not a winning proposition.

- Nick Foles was sacked 5 times.

- Philadelphia scored 34 unanswered points.

- Josh Scobee went 1 for 3 on field goal attempts.

- LeSean McCoy got carries at a rate of 2-to-1 over Darren Sproles.

RAIDERS 14 JETS 19

 

- Oakland went 3-for-12 on 3rd down.

- The Raiders had only 25 yards rushing.

- The Jets lost the turnover battle, 2-0.

- Derek Carr completed 20 passes, but averaged only 4.7 yards per completion.

- Oakland ran the ball only 15 times. Maurice Jones-Drew ran it 9 times for 11 yards. The Jets Chris Ivory had 10 rushes for 102 yards.

- Oakland only possess the ball for 25 minutes.

- Joe Flacco threw the ball 62 times.

- Despite this, he had only 44 more yards passing than Andy Dalton, who threw the ball 38 times.

- Steve Smith Sr. and AJ Green led the receiving efforts, with 118 and 131 receiving yards.

- The Bengals defense had 3 sacks and 7 QB hits, the Ravens had 0 for both.

BILLS 23 BEARS 20

 

- The Bears had more passing first downs (19) than the Bills had total (15)

- Buffalo had 167 yards passing.

- The Bills did, however, have 193 yards rushing.

- Buffalo had 9 penalties for 108 yards.

- Fred Jackson had 61 yards on 7 carries. CJ Spiller had only 53 yards on 15 carries.

- Jay Cutler threw two intereceptions, and the Bears lost the turnover battle 3 to 1.

- Bills punter Colton Schmidt pinned Chicago inside the 20 in 4 of 5 punts.

- The Redskins outgained the Texans 372-316.

- Washington lost the turnover battle 2 to 1.

- The Redskins suffered on 3rd down, converting just 3 of 12.

- Arian Foster had 103 yards rushing on 23 carries for an average of 3.8 YPC.

- Redskins kicker Kai Forbath missed his only kick on the day: an extra point.

- The Houston Texans defense sacked RGIII 3 times and hit RGIII 14 times.

- The Chiefs went 1-for-12 on third down.

- Kansas City had only 245 yards total offense, including just 67 yards rushing.

- Tennessee had 12 penalties for 110 yards.

- The Chiefs possessed the ball just for 22:16.

- Both QBs were sacked 4 times each.

- Chiefs new kicker Cairo Santos hit 1 of 2 field goals, hitting the upright both times.

- Jamaal Charles was stuffed for only 19 yards on 7 carries.

- The Patriots were 5-for-17 on 3rd down.

- New England had 9 penalties for 100 yards.

- Ryan Tannehill had just 178 yards passing.

- Knowshon Moreno ran for 134 yards on 24 carries for a 5.6 YPC for Miami.

- No Patriots player had more than 7 carries (Vereen)

- Tom Brady was sacked 4 times.

- Tampa possessed the ball for only 24:48

- Josh McCown was sacked 3 times and threw 2 interceptions.

- The Panthers defense also hit McCown 7 times.

- The Bucs lost the turnover battle 3 to 0.

- Kelvin Benjamin starred on offense for Carolina with 6 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.

- The Cowboys lost the turnover battle 4 to 0 including 3 interceptions.

- Dallas got points on only 2 of 4 red zone trips.

- Both teams had double digit penalties.

- Tony Romo completed 23 of 37 with a rating of 60.8.

- DeMarco Murray had 118 yards on 22 attempts for a 5.4YPC and a touchdown.

- Anquan Boldin had 8 catches for 99 yards.

- Vernon Davis caught two touchdowns.

COLTS 24 BRONCOS 31

 

- Andrew Luck threw for 354 yards passing.

- The Colts lost the turnover battle 2 to 0.

- The Colts scored 3 points on back-to-back possessions inside the opponent's 5 yard line.

- Indianapolis was 3-for-14 on third down.

- Luck threw the ball 53 times.

- Indianapolis had only 54 rushing yards.

- The Broncos hit the QB 6 times.

- Denver fumbled twice but recovered both.
