Stroppier Milk
That is a little crazy. Not because I think he can get beat, but for the risk of injury. I may actually go see him run at Monmouth.
plommer
I'm surprised as well. As a triple crown winner his value as a stud far exceeds what he can now earn on the track running for purse money. His stud fee would have to be in the $50 - $75k range.
Stroppier Milk
I stand corrected... He is definitely running.. but it may be at Saratoga or Del Mar as well. His owner and Baffert are still figuring it out.

plommer
He's a special horse No doubt but it's usually business first with a hoss of this value.

StayGolden
They sold the breeding rights to Coolmore last year.... i bet they regret that big time right now. Only thing he owns is racing proceeds. So of course the kid gloves are off.

August West
Monmouth likes to bribe baffert and owners of the best 3 year olds to run in the Haskell. I mean why else would you want to go to Monmouth. So he probably will end up there. Baffert dominates that race and struggles badly in the travers. fifty cint
Monmouth is great...why not run there, its not liken Baffert hasn't been successful there.Factor in the big purse with a great track and NJ owners its not too difficult a decision.
