KingRevolver
I was reading a story about Mayweather stiffing a waitress... http://i61.tinypic.com/2ekkbp1.jpg $1500 for 3 bottles of Grey Goose? Look at the other prices. Holy shit... do people really throw their money away like this?
FISHHEAD
It all evens out, poster RMI will make up for the lost tips with his order of 16 eggs and three bottles of tequila Tuesday night.
joeybagadonuts
Pretty standard pricing. Neither of the clubs at hard rock would even be considered tier 2, let alone tier one. So actually, these prices are pretty "cheap" relative to if he went to Hakkasan/Encore/XS, etc
Guest ChrisHarvard
I ordered two shots of Jack Daniels at Aria, basically 20 bucks. To hang out on the strip makes no fucking sense to me. Even downtown is starting to get that way. Hopefully Henderson will always stay the way it is. Guest ChrisHarvard
I am not a cheap fuck, but 20 bucks for two shots of average bourbon seems expensive. I've never lived in California or NYC, though.
joeybagadonuts
If I remember correctly, cocktails at xs are around $20 each w tax.
WeinkeToWarrick
Prices are fucking outrageous. One of a couple reasons why I have absolutely zero desire to go to a club or pool party in Vegas. I go every year in November and spend 7am-11pm gambling on sports and horses. From 11pm-5am I play pai gow poker. I don't pay for a drink the entire team and get fucking loaded, then eat a breakfast sandwich at 5am, chug a glass of water, take a two hour nap, and do it again. Go sit on the right side of the sportsbook at the MGM and you can see every hooker walking into Hakassan that you would see inside the club, except you can see them in better light and without having to spend $200/hour in drinks. Unless you're millionaire rich or getting comped, partaking in more than a token visit to a strip club by going to a "dance" club or pool party isn't just square, it's retarded. Go to any of the grungy college party bars in a college town (Tallahassee, Tempe, Phoenix, Boulder, etc.) and get just as fucked up, see hotter ass, and have just as much fun. Once you're older than 35 you probably can't get away with it like you can in Vegas though.
Guest ChrisHarvard
So to get drunk you need about $150 plus tip money...so just under 200 bucks. That's reasonable. :
Guest ChrisHarvard
And if you bring a lady friend, well they aren't as bad as me so add an extra 20% of whatever I drink. :coffee:

Inkwell77
Please don't feel for this girl who has a ridiculously overpaying job. The bartenders and cocktail waitresses who work at the "cool" places in Vegas make way too much money for what they do.
Easygoer45
He should have tipped her, not sure what the right amount would be, but surely she deserved some kind of a decent tip.

Viejo Dinosaur
Who would have ever thought that going to a strip joint in Vegas would be cheaper than going to a nite club in a hotel? WTF!!!!

If Mayweather, or anyone for that matter, is going to a place like this... they know the deal. They know it's a place to be "seen," and they know how expensive if it. If you go there and want to get overcharged for drinks, fine, but then you should also compensate the person who served you, especially when you're always flashing your money. FISHHEAD
It appears tipping is on the decline.....see Mayweather, MCCoy, Fezzik, Tiger.

ronald
Agree with Inky and WVU. In Vegas you either hustle or get hustled. The decision is yours.
Jimmy Hoffa
It's a joke watching all those L.A. guys that drive up on Friday nights with their pockets full of money standing in line at XS hoping to get laid. They leave in the morning with their pockets empty and their hearts broken...

I've given this some more thought and I'm going to give Mayweather a pass on this. When he's told that his night is comped, it's reasonable for him to assume the club would take care of the servers as well. The way this clown throws money around it's unlikely he deliberately blew off tipping anyone. He either didn't think it was necessary, or forgot, or one of his handlers was wasted and forgot. If this chick had simply complained to her boss, she surely would have been rewarded a day or two later. Instead, this bitch decides to go attention-whore and contact TMZ. If I'm working in management I'd be furious that an employee embarrassed a whale and the club. She deserves to be canned and sued.
