  1. To be clear, all the results I have for Sportsmemo cappers are from their "Recap" page, I have not received these picks in advance, they are all past-posted the day after the games are played. I have selectively looked at the Sportsmemo lines and generally they have been WA (widely available), but I certainly can't vouch for their absolute accuracy. I have met and chatted with Erin Rynning on several occasions. As Drink has said, I did receive his picks via email for one college football season. He bet mostly college totals at opening for his personal account, adding more as the week went by. Many lines moved 2 to 7 points later in the week so I would say most lines weren't WA for a very large bet size. I have indirectly received Waz's picks as he released them on EOG as well as his Westgate SuperContest picks. IMHO, ER, Drink and Waz are very savvy cappers and bettors. I look forward to reading their contributions on BettorIQ and I would recommend readers here on TGF might give them a look. As with any such info, caveat emptor.
  2. From BettorIQ about Andrew Lange: With significant market influence, Andrew Lange has produced a decade-long 58% winning rate on over 750 selections in college basketball. Using a low volume, high return approach, Lange's results in the NFL have been equally impressive with a 61% mark and over +49 units of profit on a 1, 1.5, and 2-unit scale since 2012. BettorIQ is copying the classic Sportsmemo data subset con job by singling out only CBB since 2012. For the decade, Lange overall is 2337-2112, +42.07u at Sportsmemo, but he lost overall in each of 2009,10, and 11. I looked at Lange for CBB for last season (Nov 2017-Mar 2018), he was 54-48-4, -1.10u so a small loser last year. I'll complete the record when I get time.
  3. EOG staged a short comeback yesterday, Tuesday. The forums were visible for a short time, but when the main subforum was selected, the browser just hung. I actually could enter "The Asylum". Then the site went back to the "coming soon" screen. I'm not holding my breath that EOG will be back soon. :)
  4. Odds that the next return time specified will be "mañana": Yes +200 No -240
  5. Looks like EOG might mean NEXT Tuesday .. or maybe its just siesta time in Costa Rica. … LOL
  6. Don't have any inside info, but as has been pointed out, any business oriented website doesn't go down for three/four days and expect to thrive.
  7. Hi Guys, Sad to see EOG "devolve" in this way. I'm sure JK will land on his feet somehow. Good luck with TGF going forward. -Bob
  8. Now a Canadian permit is required. Back when I did that part of the PCT, it wasn't illegal, you were just required to check in at Manning Provincial Park.
  9. Interesting development. Between 1965 and 1995 or so, I crossed into Canada many times, mostly for ski trips either at Whistler or heliskiing, mostly at Blaine and Sumas in Washington state. The Canadian Border guards were always nice and efficient, never had to wait. The Americans always seemed to want to give everyone a tough time, on a Sunday evening, with long lines, it always seemed to take over an hour to cross back into the US at Blaine. The one unusual crossing I had was hiking into Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail in the middle of the North Cascades mountain range. No border guards at all ... LOL
  10. Since I can't post on EOG, I would like to use TGF to express my thanks to those posters who have supported me and/or questioned the wisdom of my banning. I have read the lengthy thread at EOG and wish to individually thank: GroovinMahoovin, Jasson621, BaseballZealot, WinkyDuck, Just Luck, bomzee, railbird, WeinkeToWarrick, SportsRMyLife, Scooper, 2W2P2S, Inkwell77, Viejo Dinosaur, DrnkYourMlkShk, Kane, Now'sMyRuca, ChiTownJoe, MonkeyF0cker, DrunkenGoon, Heim, Almost Allright, GameBred, Scrimmage, FairWarning, PalmTree, The Guesser, Discreet Cat, Voodoo, My_nameain'tEarl, HappyTime, ManchesterUK, Mr.Top, raycabino, WoodrowWilson, and bishqqq. If I misconstrued someone's post or missed someone, I apologize.
  11. Had dinner with Voodoo last year at Scusa, very good food. Also Ciera Steak in the MontBleu is very good. I spent every weekend last December comped at the MontBleu, very good player's club benefits. Skiing conditions are excellent. If not your thing, snowshoeing might be an option.
  12. Actually RAS did try front-running (i.e. betting using 3rd parties and splitting the profits) their releases. Of course, they tried hard to fly under the radar and not move the line. As you might expect, once the practice became known, they received resounding criticism from subscribers. As has been pointed out, RAS makes a lot of money from the tout service so I believe they have stopped the front-running.
  13. Just a quick response. Yes I am not Dr. Bob. I tracked Glisan on EOG radio because something was fishy about the guy's attitude and analysis. When I criticized him in the EOG forum, a popular gambler, Alan Denkenson, told me Glisan was legit, that he was a wrestling fan and dog lover and to lay off him. I told him that IMO Glisan deserved some scrutiny. Through Glisan's facebook page and twitter I found one of his scam websites, but I it was so hokey I thought no one could possibly be stupid enough to donate. Unfortunately, later I found out that he did snare several victims. Hindsight is 20/20, but right up to the bitter end JK and others were defending Glisan as "a great guy". Two touts I have found to be "consistent winners" i.e. +EV over thousands of picks at WA lines: Right Angle Sports (RAS) and Erin Rynning of Sportsmemo. The Sportsmemo picks are past-posted (recap section) the next day, but they are scrutinized by purchasers and over the years, several errors have been found and corrected. By and large I believe they are fairly accurate. Of course, I have met/tracked a few long-term winning cappers. They tend to not post picks for free on forums or twitter. Obviously they are going to select the best line available and generally aren't worried about whether they are WA.
  14. I'm 45 (hexadecimal). This also should demonstrate I'm not a ghost ..LOL
  15. Hello TGF. I created this account right after Kinger started the forum, but never got around to posting. Now I have a reason ... LOL One positive is that I recognize almost all the names here. I do track a number of touts, however the time involved is very limited. Most of my time is spent modeling sports and making bets. I was initially curious about what the real win%s actually were. I have also turned down quite a few requests to track various people. Nice to be here. -Bob
