How many kids you think get told by teams they will draft him and then end up passing if the draft shakes out differently or they change their mind in the draft room? And Doc is right. He has dealt with situations where players reject offers he has made or whatever and in pro sports agents deal with that shit more often than not. He said yes sometimes players call themselves but much more times than not its the agent that calls.
