for anyone doing a road trip or curious about prices in different parts of the country, this is a good website. i've used it before when getting low on gas on a long trip, might only save $5 but it's still more fun waiting 1/2 hour and paying $3.29 than $3.59.

about the only city i've been in where downtown gas is cheaper than the suburbs is memphis. right now memphis is around 2.70 and milwaukee is 3.30 even though we are right on a major port and shipping should be cheaper/easier...

We are at 2.86 a gallon in SoCal. Oil dropped again today. Approaching $60 a barrel. I wish I would have kept track of what gas prices were compared to oil prices when they were going up. I'm sure the oil companies are screwing us keeping the prices higher as oil drops than they were as they were going up.

This taken from Yahoo answers,,,,,,,,

I'm sure there are some cost BUT when oil was $30 a barrel gas was $1.00 a gal. when oil went to $60 a barrel gas was $2.00 a gal. when oil was $90 a barrel gas was $3.00 a gal. and when oil was $120 a barrel gas was $4.00 a gal. so prices at the pump are not reflecting correctly. Believe me this is all greed bulls__t. That's why the CEO of Exxon Mobile received a $400 million bonus in 2013. What's wrong with the stock holders heads for allowing that kind of greed.

Being that your a professional gambler' date=' and travel from casino to casino on a daily basis, is gas an acceptable deduction at the end of the year come tax time? [/quote']

the entire car should be depreciated as well. and then make an adjustment back for personal use miles. or just take the standard mileage rate of 56cents for all business miles
