Didn't half the country start out as a Republican candidate? Yet these two are still here.And if these shining stars from our congress are "complete nitwits", then the rest of our legislators must be Jerry's kids. No wonder socialism is taking over America. Everyone knew that Cruz was probably the most unpopular, unlikable Senator of the last 50 years. The fact that the most unpopular, unlikable Senator of the last 50 years was the Tea Party's candidate until he was replaced by a reality TV star who specializes in going bankrupt shows you the lunacy of of the far right. At some point in the next 20 years maybe the socially progressive, fiscally conservative center of the Republican Party will get nominated instead of the freak show they've gifted us with this time.
