I remember when Fox got the NFL contract and they tried putting an Eagle snacks icon between the goal posts on extra points and field goals. That lasted one game. Maybe they will stick a Mercedes icon on the backboard like they do on the nets for tennis.

Not sure, but players have been wearing Adidas jerseys with different brand shoes and next year the jerseys will be Nike, so I guess they will be able to get away with it.
