You better take a basic multivitamin- doesn't have to be high dose, for several months at least to "recharge".
housepicks
A lot of people don’t realize how much vitamin deficiency can affect people physically and mentally although your story Mike would definitively rank near the top.

housepicks
It’s got a great label no doubt. Bunch of Tom Foolery. When it says magnesium oxide/citrate…it means oxide. Magnesium oxide is unabsorbable by the body. Look up magnesium. Look up vitamin D. See how important they are to bodily function.

Mike75
The main vitamins i am about to start taking daily.... Nature's Way Alive Multivitamin..... Plenty of B vitamins, A,C,E,etc. Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Fish Oil plus CoQ10 .....has fish oil as well as Q10 Dr Sinatra Broad Spectrum Complex Magnesium .....Different types of magnesium If anyone has any suggestions that they think might help i will listen. The main reason i got into all of this was i had a grandfather who was given six to eight months to live and luckily his sister who was a nurse threw out all the junk the doctors prescribed except for blood pressure med and she put him on a new regimen/diet that included certain supplements including fish oil, magnesium and something that was a big help CoQ10. In Japan CoQ10 is the number one thing that every one over there takes it is really good for you heart and brain as well. Anyway six months later he drove to his doctor and instead of the doctor congratulating him on good he was doing the doc got mad because my grandfather went against his medical advice. My grandfather ended up living almost a decade due to all the changes he made. Well my father knew about this back then in the early to mid 1990's and he became a big vitamin/supplement believer and i asked my dad recently what he takes for blood pressure he said Arginine helps him and has for years as he doesnt hardly take any meds from doctors and he just turned 70 last September. I might add things to my regimen as i get older but right now its just 3 or 4 things i take right now. Thinking of starting on Milk Thistle as i have done a lot of partying over the years and my liver is most likely not in the best of shape. My brother takes Milk Thistle after he quit drinking last year because he was an alcoholic and the doc warned him because he had certain things happening due to years of alcohol abuse.
