Dark Raver Camper
Marlins connection and it's not Bonds and it's not Stanton? How bout that sweet swingin Moises Alou?Ha, I got a craxked Moises Alou bat, when he was w/ the Expos, in 1995. Lou Frazier gave it to me because I gave him his 1995 Topps card. I asked him if he cracks a bat, if he could give it to me. I don't think he even had an ab that game, but he gave it to me after the game and had Alou sign it. Another victim of a sell off for gambling funds. I probably only got about 6 bats at MLB parks, when I seeked, and two of them have been identified here. The others were a Dykstra bat, given to me by Gary Varsho, and a Bill Hassleman bat, given to me by Bill Hassleman after I annoyed the fuck out of him. Coincidentally, it was during batting practice and the day he charged Mike Mussina. I kept asking him and after the third time, he said, Jesus Christ kid, just take the bat. This was a classic memory. I also was at a game in 1989ish where Kevin Gross got ejected for having sandpaper in his glove.
