CABO would be basically free since I paid for my time share 8 months ago so feels free and can use miles for the airfare. Only issue is I tend to get bored doing the whole lounging at the beach and pool for a week. No casinos in Cabo either. Also anytime you fly internationally its more of a hassle despite the flight only being 3.5 hours. On the plus side. Decent food , fun out door stuff , and cheap booze/strip clubs. Also the place I have is super nice. 2 bedrooms full kitchen and its on the top floor with a huge balcony over looking the ocean and even has a private hot tub. On the other hand Vegas is an hour and a half away. Can gamble. Better partying options. Better food. Though even if I only go for3- 4 days will cost way more than A week in Cabo. Plus I realized that if I actually saved more money I could retire in 10ish years if I want to live in a cheap cost of living state or foreign country. If you are looking to get tanned/red as fuck and sweat is the best season lol. Summer starts in Feb and ends around August-September (used to end on July but climate change is fuckin us out of rainy season). Also, lots of tourist activity during those months up until Holy Week. Tourism lowers on april to pick back up during July-August. Don't get me wrong, people love the weather here. I hate the heat, I cant get tanned I'm too white, and I absolutely love the "winter" style, you can dress way better when its cold. But thats a very personal preference. Hard Rock one of the few properties I have never stayed at. Although Ive been in there many times. You get comped rooms there? Boyd properties like Orleans, Gold Coast, and Fremont have always been very generous with the comped rooms. So far, its been tough to crack into getting the Stations comped room offers, but Ive been trying. Stayed at Stations my last 2 trips and played a lot there. But so far, nothing yet.
