Race 7

$20 win #7 Babie Monster 6-1

$2 ex 7/ALL

Now that Bradley finally popped one, maybe we can get Arboritanza into the Winner's Circle. There's no way this horse goes off less than 10-1. It's only success has come in claimers, and today it's entered in an Allow/Optional Clm BUT it's not available for the claim. Unlike some of the others that this guy has run, this horse isn't going first off the plane from Delaware. It actually has a Florida prep at Gulf in December under its belt. Will that be good enough to move it forward? Who knows? But it has a win over the surface and should drift upwards in odds.

Record: 1-21, +$44

Played a few today, focusing on Arboritanza and Bradley. Races are off the turf, so no idea where the prices go.....

Race 4

$1 P3 ALL/5/8

Race 5

$20 Win #5 Peeka Ballerina 7/2(Arboritanza)

$2 DD 5/8

$1 P3 5/8/ALL

Race 6

$20 Win #8 Barefoot Cove 6-1(Arboritanza)

Race 10

$20 Win #6 Love and Mischief 6-1

$2 Ex 6/ALL

Bradley hitting at about 50% off these long layoffs over the last two years here. Good ROI too.

Good luck to anyone playing!

Playing two today:

Race 6

$20 Win #5 Maid for Mischief 20-1

$2 Ex 5/ALL

Second time over the course for Bradley. First time was inconclusive, getting slammed at start then coming wide into the turn. Hopefully today’s trip is a little smoother under a better jockey in Cruz.

Race 10

$20 Win #4 King Tide 7/2

Arboritanza has been disappointing so far. Horses have looked terrible, and the ones that run good have been hammered at the windows. Hoping the bettors give up on this guy eventually.....

Record: 2 wins from 25 starts, -$47

SA Race 7 #7 Private Prospect 4/1 ML

Moving from the inside to the outside is a strong angle and dropping down to bottom basement $6200 claimer this horse is ready to win after a nice tune-up vs far better compitition in a 10k Claimer last time out finishing 5 lengths back...

Probably drop a point to 3/1 but an $8 horses dont grow on trees....

Pound It !!!!!!

Sunday 1/14/17

Playing two long ones from Arboritanza and Bradley today. Finally get a couple of “second over the coursers” at huge prices:

Race 6

$1 P3 ALL/7/5

Race 7

$20 Win #7 Sealed with a Kiss 20-1

$2 DD 7/5

$1 P3 7/5/ALL

Bradley going second over, at a price, with a win over the course. Where do I sign?

Race 8

$20 Win #5 Victory Spell 30-1

Arboritanza hasn’t run many long ones yet, and this one is going second off a long layoff. So maybe last one was a tightener? Sure hope so....

Record: 3-27, +$19

Adding a new trainer, Gerard Ochoa, to the mix. He has a sick ROI here and doesn’t start too many horses, so it shouldn’t hurt the bottom line too much while offering some big payout opportunities. He’s started two horses so far this year. Both ran third at 23-1 and 59-1.

Race 8

$20 Win #4 Fast Point 30-1

$1 ExBx 4/ALL

First time going long on dirt for this one, but it made up ground late in a few of its dirt sprint starts as a two year old, so maybe it wants some more distance. Hopefully improves a bit from 2 year old to 3 year old.

Good luck to anyone playing!

Record: 3-29, -$43
