There are at least two very slow payments going on at the moment with SBR claiming that betDSI is being completely non-responsive which is what their ratings are (should?) be based on. Yes others are still getting paid which I hope continues as I just put in a payout request for most of my mid-four figure balance yesterday. Claiming extortion when reality is mostly likely the reverse (SBR losing ad revenue FROM the downgrades and players like me on their sheet pulling their funds) seems more like projection of having stronger personal biases against one party over the other rather than sound logic.

A similar thing happened with the old VIPsports.com group. It included Betgameday.com, Goodasgoldcasino.com, Fivecardcharlie.com and a few others all under the VIPprofits.com affiliate umbrella. I still have some of their Tshirts they’d mail customers.

SBR was earning around $250,000 per month from that affiliate sheet. I’m talking like 2004-2006 era. Something happened, and I don’t know the details, but the company split up, and some of that ownership/management team started up GTbets.

So the 250k a month affiliate sheet (30% of players losses, roughly) was no more for SBR. Did they give GTbets an A+ rating? Of course not. They got a C- or D. They even promoted the “proceed with caution - this is a new book” mantra. Of course they knew it wasn’t actually a new book.

I don’t know for sure, but this DSI situation smells similar.

-DSI breaks off on their own, away from BM.

-Affiliate sheet gone forever

-SBR wants to keep previous sheet going with DSI.

-DSI says no

-Ratings drop as soon as there is some instance of player complaint.

Look, if 5Dimes is taking ~96 hours to pay players via Btc, and they’re an A+ gold star book at SBR....c’mon guys open your eyes here.

(For the record I like 5dimes).

Do you think the thread at the RX is just a ruse, BAUS?  :scratch

Don't you think a book should be downgraded if they freeze multiple players' accounts without a valid reason and refuse to pay them out?  What else would qualify for a downgrade if not that?

Something strange is going on over there and it sure doesn't look promising.

No I haven’t said it’s a ruse. Maybe that player is suspected of using multi accounts or who knows what? Seems like we’ve only heard one side of the story.

I’m not saying rush out and deposit at DSI. I’m just saying there’s no way they’re a D book.

Even if they went under, don’t you think a big shop (Bookmaker?) would bail them out?

This isn’t a Betrevolution or Betislands. DSI must have a huge customer base, not to mention a valuable brand.

That's not how the old vipsports bgd nine.com thing happened and in that specific case I support sbr changing the rating 100%

-FH- what is your going rate for shilling for a book?

My guess is a a few thousand in free play. Very +ev move for a flea like yourself.

That was a classic tactic of poster AK, Alan Karre Jr, who also went by the handle AK47.

Veteran posters may remember him.

Yes. AK was a legendary shill. He was also well connected. Remember when he was able to name posters balances at a bunch of different books within minutes. Scary shit.

Ha yes! I do remember that. He was just some bozo from Kansas with a rap sheet and 4 kids he wasn’t paying child support for.

Yet he had good inside info...it was bizarre.

That thread might still exist at peeps?

So many rumors and assumptions throughout forumville........one most navigate the books the best way they can to maximize profits and take advantage of unsustainable bonus structures and ATTACK with dozens of accounts......

-JBD-

and i am probably one of the few here that have actually talked to the guy running dsi

weird industry when people will trust guys they never met or talked to, in a foreign country, with a large chunk of their net worth

Someone found a court order online about him. Something to do with bouncing a $31 check at Walmart.

The original Brock.

There's more than one player claiming the exact same issue.

There's probably a reason why Bookmaker doesn't affiliate with DSI any more.

Something fishy is going on there.  I would recommend to others that they proceed with caution.

There seems to be ample cause for a massive downgrade when a book becomes completely unresponsive.

So how do you feel DSI should be rated presently?

How did it happen then?

I’m 99.9% certain that SBR was making 250k a month on that affiliate sheet.

The owner chickened out and took his ball and went home. The guy lost 10's of millions when he bought nine.com to go on the London stock only to have the uiega get approved 6 months later. He began by making it an invite only place and fire half of his employees. The guy is a family man very respected in Curacao, once he called the prime minister while he was in Aruba to avoid my friends and I from going to prison in Curacao for working without a permit. Anyhow he had made too much money and decided to close. His former employees took over but he didn't wanted to be related so they created a new site with their own backing after he paid out every single client so it became a new operation and their only advantage was having that massive client list to cherry pick from.
