In my mind's eye I see a "professional" player having a friend sign-up at your poker room and then going over to his friend's house to play on his computer.  And, I think to  myself, How does this guy get caught?

But, it isn't that easy is it?  The pro has to find someone near to home or this is too much of a hassle.  So, if the pro can't get his neighbor to beard, he has to try to spoof the beard's computer ID - and that is how he gets caught?

So, does this mean that small poker rooms boot winning players just like small books boot winning players?  Anybody that actually gets to be good at something is not allowed to play by you guys?

I understand the concept that a winning poker player will drain the money away from the losers and possibly hurt the bottom line of a small poker room.  But, the concept of fair play in gambling has been thrown out the door.

If a book or poker room want to offer its services to the public, it should serve the public.   If a book accepts a bet from player A on the Pats at -110, then it should accept that bet from anyone.  And, if a poker seat is available - the first person that comes along should be allowed to sit.  Period.
